I’m running for re-election to the Mansfield Select Board because there is still important work ahead. I’m committed to seeing it through.
Over the past term, we have made meaningful progress. We’ve brought stability back to town leadership, resolved long-standing challenges, and restored transparency in how decisions are made. Most importantly, residents’ voices are being heard again, and their input is once again shaping the future of our community.
But this is not a time to step away. It’s a time to keep building.
Mansfield is facing a difficult budget environment, and those challenges require steady, experienced leadership. I have never shied away from tough decisions, and I won’t start now. I am committed to working collaboratively to navigate these financial pressures; protecting the services our residents rely on while doing everything possible to minimize the burden on taxpayers.
We’ve also made great strides in strengthening collaboration among the Select Board, other boards and committees, our departments, and town leadership. That cooperative spirit has made a real difference, and it will be critical as we move through the challenges ahead.
With a new Town Manager and a new Superintendent of Schools, the Select Board plays a vital role in providing continuity, perspective, and guidance. As the senior member of the Board, I bring institutional knowledge and real, on-the-ground experience that helps ensure thoughtful, informed decision-making.
I’m running for re-election to continue moving Mansfield forward—with transparency, collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve.
